Reem Omar a player on the Emirates Falcons athletics team won the silver medal at the Asian University Powerlifting Championship


Reem Omar, a player on the Emirates Falcons athletics team, won the silver medal at the Asian University Powerlifting Championship, organized by the University of Sharjah in cooperation with the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah.

She won three medals in three events: squat 90 kg, bench press 55 kg, and deadlift 140 kg. H.E. Yousef Al-Batran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Club, congratulated Reem on her great Asian achievement, praising the good preparation, readiness, training, and continuous refinement of the athletes team, which confirms the excellent work of all members of the team under the supervision of Jamal Ahmed Al-Qursi, member of the board of directors and game supervisor, and led by coach Hadi Karim.

For her part, Reem dedicated the achievement to the management and fans of Emirates Club, confirming that the victory came to reinforce the team's excellence in the university championship, and on the support and interest of H.E. Yousef Al-Batran , Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Club, Jamal Ahmed Al-Qursi , member of the Board of Directors, Supervisor of Individual and Team Games, and Coach Hadi Karim.
