His Excellency Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Club, received at the club's headquarters yesterday His Excellency "Onure Shaylan", Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in the country and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors of the club.

Where His Excellency Al-Batran welcomed the Turkish Consul, exchanging friendly conversations and topics of common interest, especially in sports affairs and within the framework of enhancing aspects of cooperation between the two sides, in the service of sports.

For his part, His Excellency Onur Shaylan praised the warm reception and the depth of the strong relations between the two sides, praising the prominent role played by the Emirates Club, in serving community members.

The visit included a tour of all the club's facilities. The visiting delegation also attended part of the training of the first football team, where Spanish star Andres Iniesta presented his shirt to His Excellency the Turkish consul. The visiting delegation also witnessed the activity and work of the Emirates club football academy. At the end of the visit, memorial shields were exchanged between the two sides.
