The UAE Athletics Team achieved 1st positions and won 18 various medals in the Premier Athletics Cup, with the juniors and women teams. H.E. Youssef Abdullah Al Batran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Club in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors; honoured them, praised their efforts and achievements, which reflected their hard-work and wonderful effort of the players led by their coach Hadi Mohammed Karim.

The team won a variety of medals in a number of disciplines in the Premier Athletics Cup; the women won 9 gold medals and first place in the championship. In addition, they came second in the countrywide with 8 silver medals and the player Abdul Rahman Fahd won the third place with the bronze medal in the junior category.

For his part, Youssef Abdullah Al Batran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Club in the presence of Jamal Ibrahim Al Disci, member of the Board of Directors thanked everyone present and gave sincere congratulations to all the players participating in the Cup as well as the players from the Hawks Athletics Club, praising their achievements and success. Moreover, he added that this remarkable achievement has increased the name of the Hawks nationwide and made Emirates Club a distinct sports entity in the field of athletics thanks to their perseverance, dedication and commitment.
