The management of the Emirates Cultural and Sports Club held its first meeting since its recent formation. Present were Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Emirates Club, His Excellency Mahmoud Hassan Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Ismail Hassan Al Balushi, First Deputy Chairman, Ahmed Mohammed Shamlan Al Nuaimi, Second Deputy Chairman, and members Sultan Ahmed Bushraija, Dr. Talib Muhammad Al-Mandus, Muhammad Abdullah Al-Hammadi, and Dr. Fatima Ali Al-Maamari.

Sheikh Ahmed Al Qasimi joined the meeting via video and welcomed the members. He expressed gratitude on behalf of the new council to His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Federation and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, for their trust. He emphasized the integration of expertise within the council across all fields, aiming for success in achieving the club’s ambitions with the support of its leaders, members, and fans. He stressed the importance of teamwork and coordination to reach their goals.

Chairman Mahmoud Al-Shamsi stated, "We are committed to translating this confidence into substantial work to advance the club in the upcoming phase, which will require significant effort." He also thanked the previous club management, led by Youssef Abdullah Al-Batran, for their dedication and wished them success in their future sports endeavors.

Mahmoud Al-Shamsi explained that the first board meeting focused on mutual introductions and directives from His Highness the Club President. They discussed raising ambitions for the next phase, urgent priorities, and preparing for the upcoming season in terms of player contracts and technical preparations. Members were urged to outline their needs for the season ahead to facilitate budget planning.

The meeting concluded with titles assigned to members: Engineer Ismail Hassan Al Balushi as First Vice Chairman overseeing Administrative Affairs and Chair of the Marketing and Investment Committee, Ahmed Mohammed Shamlan Al Nuaimi as Second Vice Chairman handling Financial Management, and Sultan Ahmed Busharija appointed as General Supervisor of Football. Additional roles were given to Mohammed Abdullah Al-Hammadi, overseeing individual and group games and serving on the Marketing and Investment Committee, Dr. Talib Mohammed Al-Mandus as General Manager of Club and Facilities Management, and Dr. Fatima Ali Al-Maamari as Chair of the Cultural, Women's, and Community Activities Committee.

Anwar Abdullah Al-Darbi was appointed manager of the first football team due to his extensive 17-year experience in football, including playing for national teams.

Mahmoud Al-Shamsi emphasized the administration's commitment to establishing foundations and programs to advance all club affairs, with plans for ongoing meetings to build on the council's confidence and deliver progress for the Emirates Club.

He concluded, "The meeting was successful and promising, thanks to the effective participation of my fellow Board members. We are optimistic about the future and hope for strong support from our fans as we work towards our goals."
