The Emirates Club and local businesses hold a meeting


The Emirates Club and local companies held a meeting headed by Yousef Abdullah Al-Batran, Chairman of the Emirates Club Board of Directors in the presence of Walid Muhammad Abdul Karim, Second Vice Chairman of the Board members Khalaf Salem bin Anbar, Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Taweel, Yousef Ali Al-Balushi, Jamal Ahmed Al-Qursi, Thani Salem Al-Shehhi, Mansour Hussain Ibrahim and Sheikha Hussain Ali Al Ali, in the hall of the late Saud Ali Musabah Al-Nuaimi.

The Chairman Mr Yousef welcomed the members and thanked them on behalf of the Council, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Federation and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Sheikh Muhammad bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, President of the Club, for the wonderful support that the Council has received in the upgrading of the youth and sports development locally.

The meeting started with a review of the reports on the progress of the first team, the academy, athletics, finance, the cultural and media committee, women's activities, and a study of the upcoming needs to develop the club's administration.

The meeting also included emphasizing the importance of giving priority to the next phase for the first team and its needs and standing behind the team by providing the support necessary to improve the team’s position in the league and to make the club’s fans happy.

In the meeting, it was highlighted the achievements of the club in terms of results and medals recently were gained, which resulted in the selection of nearly 10 players from different age groups. In addition, the rise of the 17 and 16-year-old Football Teams for the elite league and the 15 and 13-year-old football teams topped their group in the league and the athletics team achieving 1st place in the President’s Cup at the state level. This is all down to the achievements and the sincere work of the management, administration, technical and logistical staff.

During the meeting, it was mentioned that the professionalism of the media centre was praised, which has contributed to highlighting various activities in a distinctive way that has elevated the club in a positive way. Moreover, a letter of thanks read thanking the team of ambassadors of the Emirates Women’s Club headed by Arefa Al-Falahi, praising the work that has been achieved so far, which confirms the club’s societal message and its role in interacting with various events and various programs.

The meeting recommended studying the establishment of new sub-playgrounds due to the large numbers of people registering in the club to provide them with the right place to practice their sports that will help them develop their abilities.

At the conclusion of the meetings, Youssef Al-Batran said: The administration will seek to lay more foundations and programs for the advancement of all the club’s affairs in the future and there will be continuous meetings for the good and interest of the club, its affiliates and its fans.

In conclusion, he thanked fellow members of the boards of directors for their wonderful efforts and their effective and daily presence to follow up on the work entrusted to them, which indicates a reassuring future for the UAE entity.
