Emirates Club gets ISO 50001 in Energy Management


Ras Al-Khaimah Municipality held a celebration for the government agencies that obtained the ISO 50001 certificate in the Energy Department at the Mofambique Hotel on Al-Marjan Island and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Executive Council, Director General The Human Resources Department in Ras Al-Khaimah, Souadra Munther bin Shukr Al-Zaabi, Director General of the Municipality of Ras Al-Khaimah, His Excellency Youssef Abdullah Al-Battran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Club and His Excellency Youssef Ali Al-Balushi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Club Likewise, in the presence of representatives of the government agencies that obtained ISO certificates in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah .His Excellency Youssef Al-Battran explained that this achievement comes as a result of the directives and aspirations of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al-Qasimi, member of the Supreme Council and Governor of Ras Al-Khaimah، Aiming at enhancing sustainability and transforming the emirate into a global model in energy efficiency and renewable energy. He also praised the team working in the club in charge of this work, which is made up of Riyad Naeem Khaled, Mazen Subhi Souqar, Muhammad Amin, Majed Obaid, Tariq Ezzat and Othman Khaled، Omar Al-Shuraidi, where their effective efforts had the effective effect of the club obtaining this certificate in energy management. The Emirates Club is one of 19 government agencies in Ras Al Khaimah that has the adoption of the International Standard for Energy Management Systems ISO 50001، This makes the government of the first tent globally obtain the adoption of the International Standard ISO 50001 for Energy Management Systems for all of its departments.
